Training new RAT members

As part of RELIONMED project, it was our honor to train the new RAT (Removal Action Team) members, after receiving an invitation by the Board of the “Nautilus” dive club in Limassol.

During the seminar, presentations were given about the issue of alien species, the lionfish and its impacts on the marine environment, handling and safety procedures, the role of “RATs”, implications for management and the importance of market promotion.

We are happy that we manage to combine education with science and conservation. It’s inspiring to see so many stakeholders and sea users collaborating and working with us to improve marine conservation!
