MER’s ichthyologist was managing Seawave from 2009 to 2012. During this time he contributed greatly in transforming Seawave to one of the leading aquaculture businesses of the island. From early 2012 these services were provided directly by Alexis Loucaides to Seawave without MER’s engagement.
Aquaculture management includes a wide range of services such as consulting, managing and supervising all aquaculture procedures: fry selection, feeding procedures and well-being of fish, fish harvesting, repacking of fish, delivery of final products to local market, managing fish exports to other countries, market trend analysis, quality control and assessment of all procedures, technical and economic feasibility analysis, modification of techniques to improve feed conversion and fish growth, nutritional assessment etc.
