During her studies at Klaipeda University, Aire had the opportunity to work at the Coastal Research and Planning Institute of Klaipeda University (1 year) and at the Marine Research Department of the Environmental Protection Agency where she developed the necessary skills that qualified her to be a great candidate for the internship position. After obtaining her master’s degree, she enrolled for a 6 month internship at MER Lab in Cyprus as a Laboratory Assistant. Practical and field work experience helped her build competent sampling and analytical thinking skills, which are essential for her improving as a specialist.
Among her main areas of interest are renewable energy sources, ecological audits, pollution prevention and monitoring. During her studies she gained a good understanding of the basics on environmental protection and is eager to learn more about this subject.
Aire’s excellent communication skills and being a quick learner allowed her to adapt and work well with others at MER as well as independently. Persistence is one of her strongest qualities as she takes difficult to solve problems as a personal challenge. She is skillful, talented, smart, hard worker and a vital asset for any institution.
